Stay in The Shade

Huuuumid today, and kinda hot, so let's stay in the shade and ride in the woods. Which, after about 3 miles, seemed like an awful idea. Body felt terrible. Noodled along some more before getting to a downed tree at Mile 6.6 that Mark was aiming to cut with his hand saw. We worked on that awhile, got it cleared and even though we were tired from that, I started feeling better.

Mark bailed at Button Farm on Black Rock Road and I finished in the woods and felt pretty good. Maybe could have gone farther but decided discretion the better part of valor ...

Good to be back in the woods..

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
