Intended to do a 100 mi loop with Bob, Sonny, Doug and Ilyas. It was a gorgeous day but 2 mi in Sonny had to stop to adjust his bike. When we got going again, I immediately flatted - I ran over some glass. Problem was my legs were really sore from Thursday's workout. Once I got going on the climb the legs loosened up but with about 5 mi to go I started to really slow. At the top, I should've turned right around and headed home but decided to continue with the ride hoping I would feel better. The rest of the ride to the rest stop was painful. At one point my jacket started to come out of my pocket and just as I was about to stop to fix it, it fell out and got trapped in my wheel, chain and brakes! DAMMIT! At the lunch stop I went to check the jacket. As I went to fold it, I felt a sting on my hand. I lifted my hand and there was a bug that got me! This wasn't my day. After lunch, Bob had to hammer to get home on time which meant I got left behind on the climb after lunch. The climb was brutal but after that I got to ride tempo and my legs actually felt better and better. Problem was, I didn't know the way back so I had Jay pick me up in Livermore. As I put my phone away after the call, I got pricked by some barb wire. REALLY?!?! It was not my day.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
