Night Rider, midnight ride on a near perfect night, very cool perfect temps, breezy and dry night... started out slow and thinking this was going to be a easy Zone ride and it was for the first 11 miles until I got onto the very dark Pasadena Rd there's a small incline right at the beginning of the road so I pushed up the hill and that started the drive as I went into my dream world. I started to make my legs work and drive up my watts, I finally pop out onto Rte 72 and coninued the drive and upped the watts even more... 6.5 miles later I get to the end and had to pull in WaWa do a quick pitstop. Back on the road down another really dark road where I had to watch out for pot holes, I already had 4 or maybe 5 flats this year on this 7 miles stretch. It seems some of the large debris from the previous storms had been removed so I could see and avoid the pot holes. From there it was the final drive home 8.5 miles my legs now were yelling the next 3.5 or 4 miles stretch of road is the toghest for me no matter how feel so it was bight down and bare it time as long as I can keep the flow going thru here the last half I can grind it out and even though it is not flat nor really easy most times I am able to get mentally serious and drive it home and tonight was no different even with my feeling the burn. Good ride tonight tomorrow will do a easy zone two ride and Sunday may be riding with riders that I seen on the road but contacted on Strava!
