Night Rider, had a tough day couldn't wait to get out. Tonight was very cool to cold ad windy...I was having a great ride until mile 27 when a car pull up towards me. I heard what sounded like the trees next mme was being hit... thinking if the car is hitting the branches I am next... when I seen the car almost jumped out off my bibs. I heard the sound of rapid fire gun I realized I was being shot at and the I felt 3 shots hit me the sting and sharp pain. I stoped immeiately and felt where the pain was I fellt this wet moist liquid, thinking it was blood, the car kept going and there was a car close behind him. Not sure if they were together? So I felt around for a bullet hole or gushing blood nothing I felt a few hits to my fanny pack on my lower back. I realizzed it might have been a paint ball gun.... I was pist but also now feared that this A hole may come back and shot me again. I turned around and evry car that came up behind me had me almost running of the road in the ditch or bushes. I was to do and easy Metric Century, now all I wanted to do is get home! I also wanted to get away from the area just in case. Now when I got back to Pemberton I was releived that I knew he could find me. Out of harms way I realized if I tto the long way I could get the didtance I wanted. I was still shy of cars coing up behind me. I got my distance and made it home safe!!!
