Early Fall weather in September. How about 48 degrees with a 10mph wind at 7AM today.
GII today was supporting a Smoothie Shop opening in Camp Springs MD. The owner is a bike rider also.
Today’s route took us down Piscataway Rd and up Livingston Rd towards Beale Hill Rd.
In Waldorf we covered Bensville Rd, and St. Charles Pkwy. We worked our way to LaPlata, and worked back to Prince George’s by Bumpy Oak Rd then down Pomfret to Bensville and back to the start.
I was with a group that stayed together for most of the ride, until I had a rear flat coming down Livingston Rd.
Thanks to Ken and Phil who stayed with me and helped with the flat tire repair.
After I returned I ordered the Mango Strawberry smoothie for my wife and a Mango Pineapple for me.
It climbed up to 66 degrees today as the Sum Repeats rose.
I had to laugh when we were on Hawthorne and RWGPS said to turn onto Bumpy Oak Rd.
That said, I had a good time with the group today.
