Gateway to Brown Creek State and St. Croix River Crossing Loop Trails - 46

Round trip. Take Nebraska Street east to St Paul Parkway trail to Gateway Trail northeast to Brown's Creek Trail into Stillwater. Cross the old lift bridge into Wisconsin and take the St. Croix River Crossing Loop Trail (about 6 miles) That goes into Houlton, WI, then comes back over the WI-64, MN-36 high bridge over the St. Croix River and north back into Stillwater. There is a nice park/rest stop area about halfway on this trail. Leave Stillwater and head back via Brown's Creek State and Gateway trails.
