Perfect Fall Afternoon Dirt

One of those lovely October afternoons: sunny, not much of a breeze, blue sky, zero humidity; just a great afternoon to be in the woods.... Gonna have to shift the bike riding to sooner after work, like today, because the dark is coming sooner and sooner. Losing two minutes a day in the evening right now...

Solo ride with some exploring of a trail from Needwood Lake back out to Redland Road. Either end is not particularly great but the middle is obviously used a lot, probably by kids from the nearby neighborhoods, complete with a coupla of bridges but lots and lots of big trees across the trail. Pretty steep and abrupt climb about halfway in.

Good and tired afterward. Just what was needed.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
