Night Rider does early night ride on a cool, damp and breezy evening. Fog made it hard to see and fogged up my glasses. I was pretty wet when I finished the ride and it wasn't because I over dressed, i was perfectly dressed this time! It was a nice night to ride. While I was at 7 miles in I passed two riders stopped at intersection, I looked in my mirror and I noticed one of the riders moving pretty fast... neither one had any lights. I stpped thinking maybe something was wrong and they were trying to get my attention. They passed me and I asked if everything was good, and they replied yes, one of the riders had a reflective vest was staying in back so cars would see them. I went on my merry way as I again greeted them as I passed by. It was darkout too and they were at least 4 miles to any homes. They look like they were enjoying their ride as I was mine! My goal on this ride was to increase my cadence, I got a little lazy and let it drop down, which I think took a toll on my legs, so I will gradually work on getting it back up.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
