Fourteen of us joined Brian on his ride to that mecca for sandwich lovers, The Pineapple at Dorney.
Leaving Uxbridge we made our way through Langley Park to a coffee break at Black Park. On from Black Park Brian led us through Stoke Poges negotiating Northern Road which was closed to traffic then on through Salt park and Chalvey to the Jubilee River. Approaching Chalvey we met the short ride coming the other way so we stopped for a chat. It was quite a sight, not often you see 34 Loiters outside Uxbridge. Reaching the road at Dorney the group split, one half heading for the cafe at Dorney Garden Centre, the other half to The Pineapple for lunch.
After lunch the we regrouped and headed off through Dorney and on past Boveney Lock, along the Thames before turning north alongside the railway to the Jubilee River. Leaving the river Brian led us through Datchet, Ditton Park, and Langley to Richings Park Golf Club for a tea stop. Arriving at the aforementioned golf club we were alarmed to find the kitchens closed. All was not lost however as the smaller Spikes Bar was open and serving refreshments.
Leaving Richings Park we made our way back to Uxbridge via Iver with the group dispersing on the way.
Another enjoyable days cycling led by Brian.

Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
