Long ago there used to go trains on the route to Kristianstad but now its a bike path. From Hörby to Linderöd the trail is very rough, parts of it are all grass and parts of it look like the military used it to transport tanks. The rest of the way to Kristianstad is rather nice, a bit before Tollarp and all the way to Kristianstad is paved with asphalt. I had hoped to cycle all the way down to Degeberga and then homeward but I was supposed to go over a pedestrian bridge to get over the highway but it was gone (down for repair a sign said but it looked like it had been there a while). I had a hard time navigating to where I was supposed to go to get on the planed path as the batteries wore almost dead in my GPS. Once on the right track I got 10-15km outside Kristianstad and the road became bad again and arriving in Everöd I was tired enough to call it a day. The distance from the start to Everöd should have been 60km but I wasted a good 6km being lost and going in circles fighting with the GPS trying to get it to stay alive long enough to give me a readout. Overall speed 10km/h and distance traveled 66km.
