A very nice sunny cold day here in the northland. I rode the Turtle Bread TCBC Solo ride but must have missed a turn somehow following the ride on my Garmin. Total distance should have been 43K but still a nice ride. Again, I rode on some roads and trails that I had not been on before and I used my Trek Checkpoint SL 6 Temperature average of 3C with wind out of the S at 11 KPH. Humidity at 52% and dew-point at 4C. The picture is of St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral in NE Minneapolis. I was not sure about the history of the cathedral but this is from their website: St. Mary's Orthodox Cathedral began in 1887 as an eastern-rite Catholic community founded by Carpatho-Rusyn immigrants, most of whom came from the villages of Becherov, Komlosa, Stebnik, Regetovka in an area north of Presov in eastern Slovakia (then a part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire). The community was officially received into the Orthodox Church on the feast of the Annunciation in 1891.
