Fail - fell off the pack after 26 miles and then limped home

First a farm truck and tobacco trailer turned left in front of us at the bottom of a long hill at the Cumberland River, causing us to waste our downhill momentum by braking hard. Then we had to stop because my water bottle bracket loosened and threatened to fall off into my chain and/or rear wheel. Finally I ran out of water after drinking both bottles. Tough ride!
