Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

It's very windy and cold out. Perfect day for an indoor workout. I decided to ride with a virtual partner, group C. They're supposed to ride between 1.5 to 2.5 W/kg. I hopped on the trainer and warmed up by soft pedaling for about 5 minutes. After that, I joined the group in progress. I was able to hang with the group. I tried to stay at the front. I was having to ride out of the saddle for a good chunk of the ride. I was having to put over 3 W/kg to keep up and move up in the pack. I don't think went above 155 BPM. Most of the course was flat, so I was riding in my least favorite terrain. It was fun to stay with a big pack. I haven't done that in quite a while. It makes me want to do it again, but I think I'll try and join a group that does more hilly rides. Overall, I felt good. My concentration was pretty good. I was distracted by the group and surroundings. Balance and form was ok, not great. It felt like my left leg was a bit less flexible than the right. Gear worked perfect. Nutrition was good. I had to sit down to wipe sweat and drink. Ailments were mostly hand numbness. Being out of the saddle for many minutes of time was tough on the hands. Other notes, there were about 7,000 riders when I began the ride. About 10,000 riders were on the Paris map. Earlier today the Watopia map was at 11,000 riders! The most I've ever seen, yet!
