Frozen Dirt

Well, mostly frozen. A coupla spots were starting to get mushy but for the most part, the only mud was right at the edges of stream crossings (just like in the summer too). And it's official, 2020s conditioning remained in 2020. Don't ride for three weeks and, well, you're not 25 any more. ...

Got a flat in the tubeless rear OF COURSE and had to tube it. Then couldn't get enough air in it AND it was moooostly on the rim and and and. Bleh. Last few miles were not as fun.

Temps were in the low 30s and we were mostly warm most of the time. In fact had to ditch the gaiter, skull cap and full length gloves after about 5 miles because just too hot.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
