I found Bay Area Bike Tag #154, a mural at Day & Church Streets in San Francisco. Then I set a new Bike Tag #155 at a secret location (the San Francisco Wave Organ). After taking the pictures for this tag, I went over to Pier 39 and sat down to post the Bike Tag entry there. I later heard I beat someone else to posting the tag by 5 minutes. (That has happened to me before.) Then I had lunch at Pier 39. I rode down the Embarcadero/waterfront for a ways before heading back to my car in the Noe Valley neighborhood near a friend's house. I was going to take Caltrain up to SF because the first train arrives earlier, and take BART back. But I didn't get out of the house in time and realized at SJC that I wasn't going to get to Santa Clara Caltrain in time. So I turned around back home and put the bike in the car.
