Went riding with Roger today at noon. Again, today was beach weather. Nice and cool on the way out and comfortable on the way back. The winds were blowing from the north somewhat strong. We cruised the downhill. It seems now, that we have a gentlemen's agreement to go at our own pace. So there were times that I gapped Roger by as much as a minute or so. I circled back a few times to let Roger catch up a little. No biggy. So, like I said before, I had some unfinished business on the downhill going back down Woodford-Teh. I started the first part at around 35mph, then upped it to about 38mph. Then a truck passed me and I was able to draft ever so slightly afterwhich I poored on all the power I could push. I looked down, and saw that I hit over 40mph! woot! Just a little treat for the end of the ride. No ailments today, except some slight cramping on my lower right quad. It went away about 5 minutes later and was completely gone by the time I reached the top. Bike continues to work well.
