02/20/21 Lower Black Mountain Chip

We followed offshoot off trail for about one mile north before it dead ended into a steep embankment of mountain. Chip went further than me to see if it leveled out but it did not so we doubled back and followed lower black until veering off to the right over a steep a stream to the end where we have eaten before. Chip Then followed his prior Bushwack To see if he could meet up with the southern Bushwack from this morning. His map shows how far he got. https://ridewithgps.com/trips/62836872
He hiked 2 miles more than I did event though my iPhone gave me the same. I was completely exhausted from this hike which tells me that Chip is much stronger than I am at this time.
