Emonda. Beautiful sunny day, temps hit a high of 45, winds a bit milder at 6-7 mph, mostly SSW. Good power numbers after yesterday's easy ride, Averaged 18.3 mph which is really high with all the winter gear on. Speaking of which, my new Di Marchi gloves are perfect for +40 degrees. I used the merino wool first layer plus a second fleece glove and the DM shells on the outside, which are wind proof. Down low I used a thin base sock with 2 toe warmers on each foot, heavy wool Rapha sock and the Shimano boots - feet were toasty the whole ride. Rounded this out with a poly SS base T and Merino wool LS T under my heavy blue Bontrager jacket and just a head band to keep the ears warm. I finished the ride with a good sweat worked up.
Added a bento box on the bike with power brick/cable to extend the VIRB camera battery over the whole ride - worked like a charm but you have to start the video recording before attaching the power cord. The power bank was down to 18% by ride end and the camera was still fully charged. I can eek out at least 4 hours with this setup, maybe a bit more.
I used the XTAR Dual 18650 bank and noticed one of the batteries jarred loose from the contacts, so when I moved it back, power is showing around 60% remaining, so I can probably run this for at least 6 hours, maybe more - at least enough to record a century or a gravel metric. I inserted a piece of foam in the XTAR box to take up room and hold the batteries in place - it probably jarred loose on a bump. Final length of videos TBD and may depend on storage capacity of the Micro SD card.
Good week with 11:13 ride time over 5 rides and ~190 miles, which is phenomenal for Winter. Also finally figured out all the ins & outs of recording, saving, uploading and editing the VIRB videos. Next up will be figuring out how to upload it to Rouvy. Most of the photos are camera captures from the VIRB while editing the video. This is so much easier than trying to take pictures with the iPhone, especially with gloves.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
