Great hike followed 475C all the way out crossing Art Loeb to rejoin Art Loeb at a junction with Cat Gap. Took a Left on Art Loeb to junction with Cedar Rock Mountain Trail. Followed that last segment to the peak of Cedar Rock Mountain. Had to use the overlay of previous hike to Cedar Rock to find the overlook ledge. We met a couple who had hiked the Camino Portuguese http://santiago-compostela.net/camino-portugues/ featured in the movie The Way, Martin Sheen. Very nice people we had a good conversation but didn’t get their names. He runs a video poker software company, she is a dental hygienist. They live in t Pleasant Charleston. Shared stories of crossing the Ashely Cooper bridge. Recommend Hampton inn downtown and Hanks Seafood. Also named a few restaurants in Brevard I’ll have to look up. We heard and then saw a large flock of crows circling and cawing out loud. The couple referred to this as a Murder of Crows telling the story that they had witnessed a murder of crows attacking and killing an owl.
