Mulholland Double 2021

Perfect weather. All was good until Moorpark mile 175, snap! no more rear shifting. pulled the cable out and messed around for a while figuring out how to tie it off to select a single cog. Removed rear wheel, pushed derailuer over by hand and tied off the cable at the chainstay cable guide. Put the wheel back on and found I had the second lowest gear cog. Wove the remaining cable around the cable casing (check out the photos). Now I had two gears, a 13 MPH max gear and an 8 MPH max gear. Since there were a couple of steep hills left to go (Reed Rd. bypass and Porterio) I felt this was acceptable. The rest of the ride I would coast any down hill climb easily and do a spin up to speed then coast for a bit and repeat on flat sections.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail).
