Ride to Croton Point Park from Van Courtlandt

topeak bags loaded up with 30lbs of gear. topeak front rack was unwilidy on SCC trail at first

Routing from 233rd street to park was longer than expected and took me down weird roads. We originally planned for 10:30 and took off at 11:30

Also we talked about going to the dam this afternoon and did it the next day. Loaded wood onto racks

Didn't bring anycookware. Also need a giant battery

Low of 40 degrees. Brought windbreaker and thermals and didn't use them. Use 40 degree sleeping bag with liner

Brought gore tex shell and didn't use it. Although there was some drizzle with a scattered storm. Chance of rain was 1%. Should maybe pack a cycle rain poncho when no rain is predicted
