Donner Summit to South Lake Tahoe

The climbing started shortly after leaving the Cisco Campground and didn't end until 13 miles in. This is the place where some settlers resorted to cannibalism to stay alive during a very bad winter. Our snacks were vegetarian. The other climb was on the East shore of Lake Tahoe. Smoke from CA wildfires marred the view & we could not even see the other side off the lake! Very nice descent into the campground.

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
