First full long day ride in a long time. Rode out to meet Lynn 28 miles into the wind... next 26 miles with Lynn in and out of wind, we had a very good pace going riding between 20-24 mph, it was my fastest pace this year! I wasn't sure I had it in my legs but with Lynn's help I did... He was extra strong todayI know he wanted to ride hard and fast,that we did. (My average speed for 54.2 miles was 21.8 mph) I was a little concern how I was going to do on my 30 miles back home. It was tough, I couldn't hold the pace we did and I did try for a while... I was very happy to know I still have some speed in my legs. My power meter battery died on me with about 3 or so miles to go on the ride with Lynn. so I got approximately 83 hours on the P2 PowerTap/Sram pedal batteries. I thought it would be closer to 100 hours. They die out when the batteries get below 1.5 vts. I was having issues with them in the coldest part of winter when they only lasted between about 60+/- hrs which I was doing in 3-4 weeks. So the techs at Sram told me to keep a battery log until they died which I did. this year my riding had cut down immensely, as I recovered from my year long goals of last year.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
