Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

(recalling) Went on a solo ride today. The weather was great! The wind was on my back for the return trip. I decided to do 3 loops around Stallion Springs. I felt good. My heart was peaking at just a little over 160, so it wasn't responding 100%, but I felt good none-the-less. Pretty much no ailments, Perhaps a sore tendon on my right knee, which lasted no more than 3 to 5 minutes. I fed on the 3rd lap (I think), and then rode to the local gas station quickie mart. They had some gatorade and small bottled water which was perfect. I've been noticing that my Gopro turns off for no reason. I'm not sure why, I put a new battery in, about 1/2 way through the ride, so I know it's not low battery power. Will have to keep an eye on it, or perhaps do a battery check (run down the battery on purpose). Anyways, my concentration was good, about an 8 out of 10. Leg balance was good, again, about 8 out of 10. My back was great, no signs of pain, even while pushing it over the tops. So, I did about 4 or 5 maximum efforts and felt good on all. The bike is working great, no dropped chain today. My performance bib shorts were just a little on the loose side. I hope the new ones I ordered are better fitting.
