Typically we start this from the north and ride east, then south, then it's a death march north (uphill) to the finish. This time, start down by the river, climb early, descend late. And we like this! First time I think we've ever ridden Seneca Bluffs without being dead tired. It's quite an entertaining trail when you're not looking for every flat sport or slight downhill as a chance to rest.
Morning started pretty cool but by midday the temps were comfortable. Lots of people out. Lots and lots of them.
Did manage to fall off -- over the handlebars after getting too far forward on a step-down off a bridge about 6.5 miles in. Pretty good blow to the face, lots of blood from split lip (why do i wear a helmet? It never seems to catch the falls...). Bandaged up and finished the ride; but alas, it was a reportable incident and required three stitches plus a tetanus shot. Phys Ass't refused to believe the trail was clean, smh. Gonna be a fun few days. No word yet on potential bike probations...
Riding companions were pretty tired at the end; while i was glad to be done (sore butt) my legs felt great and coulda probably done more.

Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
