探索東龍島的想法,已經想了好長時間;而今天的『東龍島探索』郤是幾乎取消了的。事因我的避震架報消,新車剛好昨日取車。故此我是想踩山野小徑來試車的,可是和 Louis有點誤會,他已經召集了幾位車友,那只好落實東龍島的騎行。
我們原來的計劃是逆時鐘方向,依水泥小徑上山,上到山頂的雷達站,再從雷達站另一邊的土路落山,但係到了雷場站,發現另一邊落山的土路長滿了矮樹叢,要落去是非常困難,那只好原路回去。
從碼頭上去導航站,都是水泥小徑,中間多段有梯級,其中過了鹿頸洲後,特別陡斜,加上天氣炎熱乾燥,上得幾辛苦;踩不動,只好推行。雖然我的車已經調到 22 拖 42,仍然無力踩上去。上斜如此辛苦,原路回程就爽極了,轉眼就完成。
我們今天難得有 Stella 和 Emily 兩位女車友參加,她們的能力雖然稍遜,但係亦完成多段的落梯級和上坡,實在不容易。
今天同行的車友,對單車認識都比我深入,長毛第一眼就發現我的新單車有問題,是 Tazer VP而不是 Tracer VP,同牌子的車,用兩個相近的名字,是我一時大意看錯了。以前的 Tracer 是 AM 單車,現在的 Tazer 是 DS 用途,兩架單車針對性完全是兩回事。但係也算錯有錯著, Tazer 落山和入彎更靈活,只係上斜就會差過 Tracer 好多,幸而我是可調行程前叉,可以補救這個缺點。

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
