Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Did a solo ride today. Roger couldn't go, so I decided to do the extended Stallion Springs loop ride. The weather was great. As usual the wind was coming from the North. There was some construction going on towards the top of Banducci, so there was a 5 minute delay. Other than that, it was clear sailing. I felt good the whole ride, with pretty much no ailments. My right calf was cramping at one point, but didn't last more than a minute or two. I ended up feeding on the last lap and stopped to get a bottle of gatorade at the mini mart. I noticed that they have energy bars, including Power Bars. Although, I couldn't see how much they cost. For this ride, I was mostly focusing on my concentration and leg balance. I did pretty good on both and I feel satisfied. Before the ride, I adjusted the front derailer by turning the screw back 1/8 turn. I think it's working well as there were no signs of dropping the chain when shifting into the inner chainring. GoPro continues to have problems with respect to stopping after a certain period of time. After about 1 hour, it turned itself off. I'm using the wasabi batteries that I bought from Amazon, but I'm not sure if they are to blame. I'll probably email GoPro about this issue and start using the stock battery to see if I have the same problems.
