Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Went on a solo ride today. The weather was good, although the wind was coming from the South. Over the top of the mountain and on the way down, the wind became turbulent. So, part of the way back I had a tailwind. Especially on the higher gradients. I felt pretty good and was able to hold a good tempo the whole way back. I had 2 slight ailments, a slight cramping in my right calf and tingling in my hands, mostly my right. The calf muscle problem went away after about 10 minutes. The tingling stayed after about 2 miles to go to the summit. Shaking it off helped. Concentration was ok, about an 8. My walkman helped in that area. Balance was a little off. I'm thinking, want to remove the shim on the left shoe to see how that feels. The bike worked flawlessly. The Gopro camera continues to have problems. It shuts off with no indication. I wrote an email to Gopro, will see what they have to say. It should still be well within the warranty period, should I have to get an RMA.
