Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.

Today's weather was great. Sunny and cool, in the low 60's. I wore 1 base layer, arms and otherwise, standard kit. The winds were from the South-East. My saddle soreness has subsided and I was hoping to get out and do the entire ride. Turns out that it was in my favor, so I decided to give it a go. As is expected with a tail wind, I did good time on the out. I did moderate tempo to route 202. I felt good. Getting there in about 20 minutes. The Banducci climb was more manageable with the tail wind and the extra gear (32T). I was mostly in my 28T as I reached the last half of the wall. I proceeded the climb, recovering on the false flat. After which I completed the ascent in good tempo. The downhill was fun and games. Almost dangerous from the tailwind. Making my way to SS was a treat. I had a near perfect tailwind. I probably averaged no less than 25 mph. I made it to the tunnel well under one hour. From that point, it was into the headwind and just grinding the gears. After exiting SS, I did moderate tempo to Pelliser. The traffic was horendous. I was hindering the traffic, but I didn't want to pull over into the muddy shoulder. Pelliser was much more manageable from the traffic perspective. I continued with moderate tempo. I was rarely making a 16 mph tempo as I was going right into a head or crosswind. I made it to Boss Hogs in under 1:20hrs, but I knew I was going to loose a lot of time from the continued headwind. The last climb was more difficult that usual, again due to the headwind. It was starting to get a bit cold at this point. I had taken off my arm warmers earlier in the ride. But the temperature was still comfortable. At this point, I consumed my Cytomax and was drinking water for the last 20 minutes, or so. Route 202 wasn't too bad. I think there were no more than 4 or 5 cars that I had to let by. From that point, it was fun and games back to the doorstep. Concentration was good today, few lapses and no signs of Gremlins. Balance and form is coming along. I felt better today than the previous Tour de Teh. ride. Leading with my left leg, when possible, felt more natural. Ailments consisted mostly of saddle soreness and the usual fatigue. Gear is working well. Some creaking noises here and there. Will have to inspect the bike on tomorrow's cleaning. Other notes, I spotted a Race communications utility vehicle as I was exiting SS. It was in the zone 1 area. I also saw some deer. I was going to stop, but I was too into the ride.
