So, yet another rehab ride. It was also the first ride that I did on my new Ultegra Di2 11 speed. Although I was focused on testing the new gear, I had a pretty good ride. I felt much better today. I was able to breath much easier and get out of the saddle at least 2x as long as previous rides. At this point, I'd say I'm a good 70% back to normal. My concentration feels good. Ailments consisted of a sore right knee out the door, and got better as the ride progressed. I had some slight cramping in the right upper calf. Of course, the bruised ribs and all that comes with it. Gear requires fine tuning. I might have to buy a part or two. My first impressions are promissing. The bike was near silent, although I could tell the gears were grinding, such as when on the little ring / big cog. AKA, fine tuning needed. Balance and form is getting back to normal, lots of work to be done on that. Other notes, I saw a runner going down to Keene. First I've seen in a while.
Other notes... I've yet to put to test the 32T on challenging terrain such as Banducci. Probably a good start will be when I do the full Keene ride in the next 4 or 5 days.
