We tacked on Dynamo Donuts and b. patisserie since we missed them on last year's challenge and since we were riding by Lung Fung, we went there too because they're the best. 🤤 Peasant Pies was closed and we skipped Devil's Teeth because they're crap and I didn't really know what to get at Pacitas Salvadorean Pastries (plus I was full) so didn't get anything there either. But we did get multiple pastries at all the other stops. Before the ride, I was actually worried I'd be hungry from not eating a proper meal but the pace was SO chill, I was pretty full after Lung Fung. But as I type this out now, I'm hungry again. 😂 I was also worried about long lines but the only place we had to wait in line was b. patisserie. All the other places, we didn’t have to wait and lines actually formed after we got there. We also got lucky that it was a Sunday. Some of the roads on the route could’ve been really bad on a normal day with traffic but mostly it was pretty dead. I would definitely choose some alternate roads. It was cold and overcast at the start but the sun came out and things warmed up by the time we got to Victoria Pastry. It took a while to stabilize though. It was warm when we weren't moving but the wind chill would make it cold. It really wasn't until around Devil's Teeth that it was just hot. Victoria Pastry and Devil's Teeth are definitely a pass. Not up to the quality of the others. b. patisserie, Lung Fung, and Dynamo Donuts are the standouts with Hahdough and Breadbelly being up there as well.
