Largest group of the year with cool, sunshine and light NE winds to start. Great, diverse group of riders including Wally, Rob, Tim, Bruce, Carrie, Jeff B, Jeff L, Shawn, Lee & Laura M, Michelle C, Dave F, Clyde, Michael D, Julie G, Rick P, Aaron W and Angie (who started in Burlington and rode to the start, finishing at the second rest stop). Fast double paceline up to Cortland for the first water break with everyone taking solid pulls and keeping together. Shawn led a group of 8 to leave early and add a few more miles at faster speed, while the rest of us followed the route up to Burlington. First group caught up to us halfway down Base Line Road, and Angie pulled off at the BP station. The last leg was essentially a straight, southern segment back to the start with light tailwinds. Group split up into sub-groups again on Peplow as the speed began to ramp up. I came in near the back after alternately riding with Bruce, Dave F, Carrie and Jeff B, who was dealing with rear through-axle issues on this bike. The course seemed well received with only the eastern edge of Whipple, at Moose Range Road, seeing any gnarly gravel. Well-deserved post-ride rehydration for 8 of us at Pollyanna.

Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
