Pisa and the sea

We left Lucca this morning headed for Pisa. We stopped at "The Rock", a Renaissance signaling tower and defensive fortress. We could see the tower and cathedral of Pisa from the battlements. We arrive in Pisa, took the necessary silly photos, then had calzone, a spritz and gelato for lunch. After lunch, we finished our coast-to-coast journey with a ride to the sea. What a fantastic trip. Tomorrow we take the train to Rome.

It was gorgeous all day. Fantastic trip from start to finish. More food (and gelato) tonight!

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
