Dummy miscalculated where Lewisberry Drive exits onto Snouffer School and had to ride a bit (half mile) on narrow, busy road before hitting the wider portion of the road and the bike lanes. Then managed to draft behind a Uhaul truck for a bit (see speed at 25.3) until mr. truck decided he needed some of the bike lane too, smh. Had some motivational challenges getting started but felt pretty good after getting rolling. Been a few rides since last did pavement, so it was a nice change. Traffic on a Friday afternoon on this route isn't awful, either. But coming around to that time of year where getting the right clothes and layers is a bit of a struggle. Temps were nice, sun is still warm during the day, but hooo boy soon as you dipped into shade about 5:30 (ride started 4:45) it was noticeably cooler, almost uncomfortably cool. Did not finish drenched in sweat. Layers! Happy to get almost 30 on this route and not have to wander through Montgomery Village, other than East Village Ave and Lewisberry.
