Outing to NYC to visit Keith and Christine. Central Park Loop fun, and traffic was reasonable on 55 degree day. Randall's Island was a complete surprise. No bikers, nice view, especially of Hell's Gate Bridge and Amatrak. THe bikeway under the tracks is superb. Would be cool to try to link in the bridge to the Bronx. Hated Henry Hudson Parkway West. Too narrow. Just use Independence. Might be fun to explore Inwood Park to get to other entrances West Side Bikeway fun and low traffic on a cold morning Biking along aqueduct in the Bronx on a Saturday night wasn't great. Very crowded, full line of double parked cars, groups of people that didn't yield. Goulden Ave stinks, just go with on Sedgwick around Reservoir or search for other routes.
