It warmed slightly today after a cold rainy Tuesday and cold, windy Wednesday. Got the season's first and second frost Wednesday and this morning, so there's no denying it now. Legs felt good; cardio still decent; contact points were a non issue. But temperature comfort ... well got some re-educating to do there. Two layers plus jacket felt good for about two miles. Unzipped the sleeves and that was mostly ok ... but not great with some pretty good stretches of feeling pretty cold. Mostly, it's moisture management. Now what did I do the last time it was cold??? Uhhhh.. But while it was pretty cool it was also a lovely fall day. Lots of leaves on the ground and a lot still on the trees, even after rain and wind this week. Gonna have to cope with the time change in terms of getting to ride after work starting next week...
