Bob had the idea to go back to Stan's Donuts since they were closed the last time we tried. We got there just in time because the line when we came back out was HUGE!
Their cruller was pretty good. There was hint of another flavor that I couldn't put my finger on but I appreciate that the flavor had some layers and complexity to it. Too many donuts just taste sweet. Lame! Their old fashioned was good too but just a touch too sweet.
Our cars/minute was higher than normal as we crossed San Jose to get to the east side. It's been forever since we did San Felipe and Metcalf. It was nice back there and the Metcalf descent is steep and windy, fast and technical, just the way I like it! Just look at that elevation profile - that very sharp drop. :)
There was a short and a long option and when we got to Coyote Creek Trail, I chose the long option. At the end of lunch though, we realized we only had three hours left to get home before sunset. I meant to bring my lights but completely forgot.
On the way back it was headwind which wasn't fun. We did a little bit of exploring too and I got to do some #roadbikesoffroad.
It was a really nice day but it got cold once the sun disappeared. Luckily we managed to get back right at sunset. Success!

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.

Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
