2022-01-18 Mt Lemmon Molino Basin

Even though possible rain was forecast for the afternoon, a sizable group of us assembled for our usual Tuesday Mt Lemmon ride. The morning temps began pretty mild, in the 50s, but no wind & the sun was breaking through cloudy skies. As we started, it felt like the day was warming as we felt some sun during our climb up the mountain. But upon the approach to Molino Basin CG, the temps suddenly dropped, dark clouds moved in, and fat raindrops splattered down on us! We quickly decided it would be wise to turn around at that point as the wind picked up again and a rain storm quickly moved in. It was quite a wild descent getting back home, soaked, shivering & splattered with road grit!

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
