Albufeira to Lagos

Unfortunately I didn't start the Garmin so the ride to Lagos wasn't captured and only the return. I went via Ferreiras and Algoz before a left turn at Poco Bareto and down to Lagoa. From Lagoa it was straight on to Estombar and past the N125 bridge on the back roads to Parchal and across the old bridge into Portimao. Then a difficult ride through town and up and over the hill which Portimao is built on before having to go round the Alvor Estuary past Penina to Odiaxere and down to Palmares where a friend was playing a golf tournament. The route back to Portimao was the same but I did divert to Feragudo for lunch again before heading back via Lagoa and Alcantarilha.

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
