Inside loop of basic desert ride

243 mi on Top Fuel. Solo ride. warm and windy. Took Bee Gees with me. Perfect day except for a brief moment on return trip when I came upon a 3' rattlesnake sunning himself on the trail. I saw him as I came around a corner and had no time to react so I rolled over him, I think. Not sure- happened fast.
Rest of ride a delight.
Ran into Sandy, Corinne, and Barry. Barry lives on Long Island and was born in Brooklyn. Sandy and Corinne are going to Safari in Africa this Augustn Corinne is a photographer.
