A vacation comfort bike ride on the Ocean Front Walk in the Mission Beach section of San Diego. From the bike shop where we rented the bikes, Tammy and I rode to the Blue Sea Lodge, then south along to the walk to the Giant Dipper roller coaster and back, then north just past the Crystal Pier. I then continued alone northward along the walk to Palisades Park and back. Tammy and I rode back to the roller coaster. I then continued southward to near the end of the isthmus at Asbury Court and back. Tammy and I then continued northward back to the hotel and the bike shop. Temperatures were cooler than normal (low 60s?) with moderate northerly winds. Using Google Earth, I later calculated that I rode 8.77 miles and Tammy rode 6.19 miles.
