Bone creek pass

This route run counter clockwise visiting Serrano road. Wildhorse valley is private dead ends. But the gem is the climb up Carlson Creek, over the pass and down Bone Creek. Pronghorn are up here. The return trip crosses Alvord Lake and winds through sagebrush back to the Alvord playa.

The ride up Carlson Creek is somewhat steep. A previous brushfire has taken out most of the trees. The descent down Bone Creek is a very long, soft, undulating double track back to the valley. You can pick up some nice speed here
