I started out with a “moisture detected” warning on my phone and only 27%, so I missed a few special snapshots. Since I wasn’t using my GPS, I missed a turn and added 11 extra miles to my ride. When I hit 4%, I had the idea of looking for a gas station/market to they see if they had a hand dryer, and there was one just right around the corner with one! I was so relieved, and stayed to order a bbq pork sandwich and enjoy their sweet little eating area at the back of the market. I made friends along the way as I was asking directions (and looking for chocolate to feel better!)😁
I made it all the way to the campground, pulled off to the side which was a little bit of a ditch with leaves, then one tire hit a sink hole and I couldn’t get my right foot unclipped in that one shot you get. There went my right mirror. Thankful that I brought a spare. You'd think maybe I’ve done this once or twice before.😊
I asked Cliff how he was feeling this morning, and he said, “ like an old man!“ He feels better now and his hand and knee are less swollen after taking Advil all day. He rode the whole way! Yesterday when I asked Kathy if she was okay, she said, “I’m fine, I fell on Cliff!“
