Rode with Julie S who is riding Tim Wilson's TdC New England Classic in early July. This was a TdC ride - fabulous organization of the venue, vendors, riders. Great volunteers and supplies at the rest stops - peanuts and soy at separate tables.
It was Julie's longest ride of the season, so my job was to moderate the pace. We rode well together in the company of others.
Somewhere around mile 10-12 we took on Andy Kling to our line and gave him a quick intro to pacelining. He's pretty strong and was getting back into cycling after some years off.
Shortly afterward we added Cecile Vernochet from Team Pfizer, a molecular biologist (who likes/uses Skitttles!! AND works with Julia Brosnan) She's a new rider, but has a running background so she was strong as well. She was using this ride as a training ride for a century on June 5 In the Ocean State TdC.
Things went well until Andy got some very serious thigh cramps and eventually had to take the cutout at mile 36. The 3 of us kept on and did really well together, riding smoothly and shortish pulls. We stopped for a final Skittle injection at mile 61 and raced to the end like there was no tomorrow. A very respectable 4:01 for 64 miles!

I won't be able to do the NE Classic because of Alaska, but may do Ocean State and provide pacing to Cecile.

Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices
Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.
Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.
Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
Estimated Time shows a prediction of how long it would take you to ride a given route. This number is based on your recent riding history, and represents an estimate of moving time. Each time you upload a new ride, your Estimated Time profile will adjust to reflect your most recent riding. Only rides exceeding 10 miles (16 km) will affect these estimates.
