SWRC Tuesday ride from Effingham to the Conservatory cafe in Horsham.

A great ride today with Bob, Aubrey, Jacky, Andy, Stephen and Dave, Clive started with us but had a serious mechanical failure in the car park which was a shame, the ride was slightly marred by a moronic lorry driver who was parked up by the roadworks thought it was okay to verbally abuse us as we were forced to walk past the road works in Rudgwick, thankfully Dave had peeled off a few metres before, it wasn't the only place we got held up, there seemed to be traffic lights all over the place, we even had to walk our bikes across some branches that some tree fellas were cutting down in one of the lanes, it was a rather grey dry but cool day with some bright spells, a lovely ride all the same.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
