Fox and Castle Jaunt

Eight of us for my jaunt to the Fox and Castle in Old Windsor via Iver Golf Club. Despite a lot of moaning from the two Js (Jackie and John J) that it would be too cold to eat out in the pub garden we had no choice as all the tables inside were booked. As soon as we got our garden table the sun came out and the moaning started again that it was now too hot. I produced my patented STOPPO MOANO device and that put paid to that. Return journey was via Staines to the Vermeulens Garden Centre for afternoon tea though Jim and I had a cheeky half in the Anchor round the corner so that I could add it to the Puffing Stops.

    Best format for turn-by-turn directions on modern Garmin Edge Devices

  • TCX Course

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
