Went on a solo ride today. The weather was overcast, warm and a little humid. Not as warm as the last ride. My legs were a little stiff in the first few miles, but they came alive after that. I cruised the downhill, picked it up when there werer some cars and motorcycles going the same direction. The return trip was great, the heat wasn't really a factor today. It was all concentration, listening to my body, and balance. Balnce being the worst of the three, but not significantly. My hands weren't numb on this ride. Perhaps the lack of heat helped. The ascent was great. I felt good the whole way up, with a few good digs. My body was responding real well today. So, no real ailments. Bike is working great, but there is this hint of creaking again, I don't think from the pedal, though. Sounds like the bottom bracket area. GPS is workin well. Gopro was working great, no hickups. So, this ride should be the one to break the half million vertical feet of climbing. I think I'll give myself a pat on my back for this mile-stone.
