RAGBRAI Shakedown ride. Rode out to Lake Solano State Park with a buddy. This is literally the perfect ride. 60ish miles less than 10 are on roads where there is traffic. The weather is perfect, little warm barely any wind and pretty quiet. Hit up three breweries on the way out. Three mile in Davis with lunch at Woodstock Pizza. Got a Bob Lob Law Guava Blonde ale. Clearly someone there is a Arrested Development fan. 🤣 Perfect riding riding beer. 5.8% nice and light. Full of flavor. Really enjoyed it. After lunch, easy cruise into Winters and stopped off at Hoobys for another Blonde ale. Missed the fruit of the Guava, but still really good. Picked up a couple IPA for camp. Then hit Green River for a chicken sandwich and couple more cans. The river gives way to the delta that gives way to fruit orchards that gives way to the hills of the valley. Absolutely gorgeous. Love this ride.
