RAID Lamoille!

I joined Brian & Constance for this amazing ride. The weather was perfect after a chilly start. We did a lot of crawling up one side and flying down the other. I discovered that there are little levers on my handlebars that slow down the bike when you squeeze them, and actually used them on the steep downhills on loose gravel. The landscape was considerably more open than I'm used to, with a lot of large dairy farms framing views of hills, big hills, and bigger hills. At one point I crested a hill and the view took my breath away. Not that there was much to take.

Update: ride organizers posted a lot of stellar photos by Dustin Marshall. I pulled the ones of our crew and added them here.

    Best format for turn by turn directions on Edge 500, 510. Will provide true turn by turn navigation on Edge 800, 810, 1000, Touring including custom cue entries. Great for training when we release those features. Not currently optimal for Virtual Partner.

  • TCX History

    Useful for uploading your activity to another service, keeping records on your own computer etc.

  • GPX Track (.gpx)

    Useful for any GPS unit. Contains no cuesheet entries, only track information (breadcrumb trail). Will provide turn by turn directions (true navigation) on the Edge 705/800/810/1000/Touring, but will not have any custom cues. Works great for Mio Cyclo. Find GPS specific help in our help system.
