From Cornhill Village Shop, head south toward Berwick, but take the side road on right to Mindrum after 150yds, through East Learmouth and on to X-roads, go over onto B6352 and through Mindrum, to Town Yetholm, take first left onto Dow Brae/Main St. to Kirk Yethom, opposite village hall, continue through to B6351at Kilham and go left and over Kilham Bridge, go right onto B6352 up to Howtel, continue through Flodden to A697, go left toward Cornhill but take next right onto B6354 toward Ford & Etal. take next left (B6353) toward Crookham/Heatherslaw, take next right to Heatherslaw, go right out of Heatherslaw onto B6354 and take next left toward Hay Farm. Follow through past Cheviot Brewery and Eroll Hut, turn right back onto B6354 and take next left into Etal. Stop at Lavender Tearooms for sustenance. Continue down through village toward castle, continue round to weir but go right at turning donut and along riverside gravel path (ncr68), continue on gravel beside river to hill at end and up past Tindal House to meet tarmac road, turn right, turn left at end, and take next left at Duddo/Grindon X-roads, at Tiptoe junction go right through Shellacres to A698, go left to A697 junction in Cornhill, right at roundabout and finish at village shop.
